REMEMBER THESE THINGS
Remembering is key to learning, connecting, and applying knowledge. REMEMBER THESE THINGS ties each lesson to an object, similar to an object lesson, but more concrete. Families are encouraged to use Family Devotions, Apologetics, and Remember These Things sections to talk about and review the lessons. Teaching is simplified by repeating the same format each week. Afterschool, church, or study groups can use these to solidify strong foundations in true science and apologetics.

Frequently Asked
Questions
How do we know what to believe about science?
The best answer is to consult the Nature of Science (Volume 7 each Series). These guides offer a systematic approach to foundational science ideas that do not change. Science texts contain a litany of facts often clouding the basic laws underlying the descriptions.
Science is a quest for knowledge. It seeks answers only from a natural, not a supernatural source. Since mankind is searching, and not the source of knowledge, any answers discovered are subject to human bias, revision, and error.
How do I speak to a skeptic?
A ready answer is your personal testimony. No matter what the skeptic believes, they cannot deny your personal experience. This may be especially true when dealing with “deeply ingrained” science professionals.
There is also a reem of scientific evidence for design in every aspect of nature. We consider the Goldilocks principles, the Copernican principle, the evidence for death and destruction via a global flood, DNA complexity, and adaptation potential programed into DNA/RNA a small portion of this evidence.
What can I tell others about a young vs old earth?
In my experience, the best answer is from Robert Jastrow: “A scientist scaled the mountain of ignorance…about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.” This mountain represents piles of revised scientific theories and ideas that converge to reveal, “It must be by Design.”
